I bitch & gripe all i like!

Woohoo…i managed to get some of the pictures from my shoot yesterday, so here they are…& credits to the photographer for the great pictures…

I know i bitch abt how tough it is to do a shoot especially outdoors but when i see the end result & the nice pictures, i really appreciate the photos & the photographer’s efforts!

Caught the ‘Accuracy Of Death’ today & to my surprise, it was not too bad at all…a break away from all the recent action films & romantic comedies. It’s got a gd (though somewhat predictable) storyline, and the emotions were well played out in the film. Pacing was abit haphazard, esp somewhere in the middle, but overall i was touched by the show. I even teared a little at the end…what the hell, i think i’m turning ‘soft’=/

What a blardy %^&!@# hot day again!! Pardon my language, but any weather above the temp of 29 degrees Celsius makes me bitchy, which basically means i’m bitchy everyday wahaha. Did a shoot outdoors today & i felt freaking uncomfortable…imagine – ur makeup is melting and u still have to maintain a megawatt smile and strike poses. *rolls eyes* I just wish i could have some of the pics taken today…especially fun was the part when we had to wait for the right moment to dash across to the middle of the road when there were no cars to snap the photo, then run away as soon as the cars start coming! Now that’s what i call ‘traffic-stopping’ haha=p

My friend brought me to a Korean minimart located at Bencoolen today, and i bought 2 diff types of kimchi there..i really really lurve the stuff so i’m just searching everywhere for some authentic ones in Singapore. Unfortunately, those i bought today still weren’t up to standard to those bought in Korea though it wasn’t too bad. I think I should just find a Korean boyfriend & migrate there so that i can eat all the kimchi i want!!!

How can anyone be lazy & bored at the same time? Well i am. Having ended a 4-day exhibition at the Singapore Expo yesterday, i’ve decided to give myself some ‘me-time’ today.

*me-time: time exclusive to me, myself & i, devoted to doing nothing constructive. Usually includes snacking on junk food, channel-surfing on tv, and taking naps in btwn, painting my toe-nails etc. 

I usually apply for ‘me-time’ over long weekends like this cuz i hate the crowds. All that elbowing, bumping into ppl and having to walk slowly behind ppl who walk like they own the street makes me extremely bitchy. Sigh. I just have to hide at home until Tuesday before i can go for my fix of retail therapy=/ 

i’m currently craving for a steak, done medium rare but i know the remotely easiest way to satisfy my craving is to trot down to the Western-food stall at the kopitiam downstairs to buy it. Forget it. I’m so NOT leaving my house so i’m gonna settle for whatever the maid’s cooking for dinner tonight. Kopitiam western food usually sucks anyway=/

*Reality is cruel. Get over it.*

My stupid nose has been blocked for almost a week now and it makes me feel really crappy. Plus i’ve been quite tired from work at an expo exhibition so imagine how bitchy i’m feeling right now. I felt extra bitchy yesterday at school that my claws nearly came out. So I must thank my friends for putting up with my mood yesterday, cuz i was being such a crab.

My job at the expo is quite fun actually~ cuz i’m kinda like the ’emcee’… mostly i just read off a script given to me every product demonstration held at one & a half hr intervals. I just read for 10 mins, then i go off & rest, and come back to do the same thing the next round…easy job, good $$$!

I took the bus home from school AGAIN! I’m kinda starting to appreciate the $$ i’m gonna save from saying no to cabs…even though it means reaching hm at 11plus=)

To the person who was sitting next to me on bus 23 just now – i dunno whether it was bcuz u were annoyed with my chit-chatting with my fren on the bus, or u were just being nice when u gave up ur seat so that my fren & i could sit next to each other & continue our bitching, but thanks anyway!

Nothing out of the blue today – class was boring. I felt like Mr Chua was rehashing alot of stuff from the previous marketing modules we had, & i’m not exactly known for having a long attention span. If u have 30mins of my full attention, ur lucky. But i applaud Mr Chua cuz i do feel he has a passion for teaching, even though half the class prob aint listening.

I dragged myself out of bed at 3.30pm today. My cold was so bad that i didn’t even feel like moving an inch cuz my whole body was aching and i couldn’t really breathe cuz my nose was almost entirely blocked. Then i had my lunch, read the papers & went back to sleep for another 3 hours.

I need some rest. Unfortunately, this coming week is gonna be one of my busiest – events, castings+school. I’m feeling miserable just thinking abt my week ahead…all i wanna do is fall into bed, switch off my phone and sleep for like, 48 hrs=/

I got my kimchi from Korea!!! yummy. I love their kimchi, & i can nvr seem to find authentic ones here. I can eat the kimchi with plain rice, or maggi mee, & it just whets my appetite SO much. I know, it makes my runny nose even runnier…haha.

Despite my busy schedule ahead and my stupid cold, i’m definitely gonna watch ‘Made of Honor’! Reason one: Patrick Dempsey is HAWTT! Reason 2: i’m just a sucker for rom-coms=P 

Time to blog abt something else.

Was feeling a bit crappy cuz i had to miss class due to a rescheduling of my event. So i had to work today instead@ St james Tiger live. I represented Samsung AGAIN (yay! i lurve samsung phones anyway…) but the whole thing was almost a non-event cuz everyone was more keen on eating, drinking & making merry instead of learning abt the mobile phones. Which suits me fine anyway, just that time passes awfully slow when there isn’t much going on. Our jobscope = Smile, look pretty & freeze. Blardy cold inside the place as usual.

I dun like to miss classes not bcuz i love school. I HATE school but i still wanna give it my best & score well. I wanna start discussing the grp project first instead of putting it off like we did the last time – which resulted in last min rushing to meet the deadline+ lots of blatant careless mistakes! In fact i’m so kiasu that i even scanned the project details to the grpmates who didn’t attend class on mon so that they could get an idea of what needed to be done instead of waiting til today=/

Early morning shoot tmr, late event on Friday. Plus i still need to memorise my 7-page script over the weekend for my event next wk. Damnit!

Where’s my life?! I want it back.

I did something unbelievable today.

I DIDN’T TAKE A CAB AT ALL! (oh actually…i did. but from Tampines to Simei so near, not counted la haha)

The most amazing thing is that i actually took the bus & train home from school. It took me 1&1/2 hours but i saved $20. Maybe i should learn to take the bus/train home from now on, but i’m LAZY. I dun wanna reach home so late.

It’s the start of a new module today – Integrated Marketing Communications, & the lecturer was nice & funny. He’s so cute that i think he makes the subject bearable.

Mr Chua: perception is what ppl think…for example, if u come to class today u wld have formed a perception of me…maybe u think ‘this Mr Chua look like a taxi driver but actually he’s quite a gd lecturer!”

The thing is, he really DOES look like a cab-driver wahaha. I love his sense of humor=D

i’m like a busy busy bee over the weekend…cuz i’m trying to squeeze in as much activity as i can before sch starts on mon -> started with ktv on friday night, after which i attended a relative’s wake cum cremation ceremony in the day, then dinner with liping on sat + another ktv session.

Friday night was almost like a drama night for me. All i will say here is that friends can go to East Coast Park at 4am for a stroll k. I know some ppl believe what their eyes see but it’s NOT what it seems. whatever.

I went straight on Sat morning to send my granduncle on his last journey and maybe it was my lethargy from the previous night combined with the sight of everyone weeping…arghhh i hate it when they cry cuz it makes me cry too=/

Dinner with liping was great though! I missed her so much cuz we hadn’t met in like a month or something…cuz she’s so busy with work & i’m so busy with school etc. As usual we chatted abt almost everything we missed out on each other’s life…from work, to love, to life in general… so many things to talk abt=D 

Ok now i’m off to the beach…yay!
